Here We Go....


Ok, here's a little bit about myself. I'm 40+, 6'4", 220 lbs with an aching back and I want to get back into optimum shape. I've tried to stay fairly active, but my nagging back problem keeps me from doing alot of the things I used to do.

I do go to the gym everyday during lunch so I am motivated to make changes.

With work and kids it's tough to eat right, but I really want to eat the right stuff. The problem is, I really don't know what to eat. I guess I should say, I really don't know how much to eat. I would love to have a personal nutritionist so anyone with nutiritional recommendations for a man of my size, let me know!!

I've recently had my back checked and it seems I have some degeneration at L4 & 5. The first course of action is going to be some physical therapy to get me doing some good core exercises the right way.

What I plan to do is supplement that with as much additional ab work as I can. I'm also going to look into eating right.

Any help that anyone can give to get me further down the road to a decent 6-Pack/stronger core would be more than appreciative!
